And with that, the Shepherd’s Crown has been read. A heartwarming last book in the series and by a beloved author. Definitely teared up for most of the journey.
When you realize Lexa was going to say "I love you", then they have a heartfelt goodbye kiss filled with tears and longing, followed up by a sex scene ( but it's not just sex because they made love), and not even an hour later Lexa fucking dies a death that dishonours her to be honest. And don't tell me that Clarke who seems to be able to bring people back from the brink of death (Jasper, Finn, Lincoln for example) couldn't have save Lexa from a single bullet wound.
