yeah was pleasantly surprised abt the lack of military. i feel like most of the pro-military propaganda has been used in the promotion itself of the film
Yeah, it felt pro-military the way Captain America was. Where it's like, yeah, we respect the military characters around her... but she still disobeys orders, advocates for ending wars through non-violence rather than use any military bullshit, and it shows that mindlessly following orders is a bad thing. Or that being mindlessly nationalistic is bad. So like... I could get over the fact that my theater showed a military recruitment ad during the previews.
