i’m so, so sorry about how long it has taken to answer this—frankly, i’m not on tumblr very much (on any blog) but i’m making an active effort to change that. which is poor timing because i’m currently on holiday (europe!!! very far from lil’ ol’ new zealand) but i’ll be back at the end of the month and trying to stick to my guns on this. i’ve been out of fandoms for a wee bit, in any and all capacities, so i’m trying to sink back in, because i think it’ll be cathartic. so hopefully you’ll be seeing more of me! i think i owe you an answer on the other blog, so i’ll get to that asap! <3
you got a blog??? that’s so exciting! if you’re comfortable doing so (abso no pressure), feel free to send me an IM from there or something! as for me, i’m doing all right, i think. a few life changes—i don’t know if i was back from the states last time we talked, but i’m home from my american exchange, have been for a few months. i moved to a new city, transferred to a new uni, got a new flat with new flatmates (one an old friend, two that i met when i moved in and whom i thankfully love, and one other girl i really like and has just moved out because of a cool opportunity in another city, so watch this space for the future fourth). i’ve stepped away from pretty much every aspect of my life in terms of creation for fandom, be it rp or writing or graphics or anything, because of a few situations and shake-ups, but i think it’s been good. recently, i’ve been looking at all these old documents that are the starts of various fic ideas, so that’s been interesting. i don’t know if anything’s workable, but i’ve lost everything i had in my ff drafts because they only last ninety days and i haven’t logged in for well over a hundred. which is kinda disappointing because there was some stuff in there i did like, but also——i’m in a different place now than i was when i started them, so they probably would have stayed in drafts anyway? so this is kind of like a fresh start, which is exciting. been catching up on comics—marvel is a fandom in which i love a lot of characters/dynamics and have only ever written one fic—but also looking at a lot of old documents that go back to my roots. i’d spent a lot of time in marauders before i sort of stopped everything for a while, and honestly, i’m probably going to jump back into marauders sooner than i think because loves of my life but i’ve been going back to my roots and looking at a lot of my old nextgen docs. and also marvel au fics, of which i have an alarming amount of docs for someone who only ever wrote one fic lol.
