This little beauty is almost 20 years old. Is she more work than when I adopted her at 8 weeks? Absolutely. But pets are family and not disposable or replaceable. Ada is a great example for our children of the great responsibility that comes with pet adoption. No matter the inconvenience, there is no surrendering back to shelters or handing off to friends.
