Hiatus notice

Hello everyone! I'm auctioning one fic in the 5k-10k word range this year for MDZS/The Untamed or The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System. My preferred pairings are Wangxian/Nielan (for MDZS) and Bingqiu (for SVSSS). You can find examples of my writing here.

If you place the winning bid by March 7, you can donate to your pick of supported charities. There are options for disability justice, food banks (including food aid for Palestinians), reproductive justice, environmental protection, shelters for unhoused women and children, and more! If you prefer, you could also donate to a local organization in your community providing direct aid in the form of food, housing assistance, and other basic needs.

Fic themes I'd be delighted to write for you:

Canon divergence AUs! Your imagination is the limit.

Historical AUs. I love placing characters in new historical settings, so go wild. ❤️

Genderswap/genderbend AUs. How would canon change if this one person was raised with a different set of social expectations? How would they change? Would they change at all?

Outsider POVs. As usual, the mains are up to something: but you'd like to read about it through someone else's eyes.

Post-canon slice of life stories.

Introspective/thinkpiece fics (possibly focusing on side/minor characters).

Fics about the experiences of aro/ace characters.

If you have a theme that's not on this list, but which you'd like to see from me, DM me or send an ask! It might be right up my alley.

Things I would prefer not to focus on:

"Reveal" fics ("Shen Yuan" reveals, System reveals, golden core reveals, Xuan Su reveals, etc.)

Sexual content, heavy angst, graphic violence, non-con (temporary major character death is fine)

Adventure-style fics focused on solving mysteries/night-hunts (I struggle with writing these, so probably not the best bet).

Reconciliation fics for MDZS (I wrote a very long fic that technically qualifies as a reconciliation fic between 2020-2021, so I've already used up all my spoons for addressing this particular topic.)

Hiatus Notice

Hello everyone! As you can probably tell from the title, I am...long past due for a break from my weekly posting schedule. What with all the Gotcha fics on my to-do list and my entries for the MXTX Food Zine (plus all my multichapter WIPs on AO3) I fear that Writer's Burnout is much closer than I would like.

I'm going to take a break from posting (not necessarily from writing, though—you'll probably see a few unrelated oneshots pop up here and there!) until at least August 16, so I can brainstorm, take care of my actual real-life obligations, and have fun with my projects without worrying about updates for a while. I'm really sorry to everyone who was looking forward to The Patroness and the Emperor LWJ AU wrapping up this summer, but I don't think I can finish either fic as strongly as it deserves without taking some time off! (｡•́︿•̀｡)

For some perspective, I've been posting weekly/more often than that since March 2020, when I posted the first chapter of TMAAF. However, I started writing TMAAF right after wrapping up a fic for another fandom, so I've actually been maintaining this posting schedule since...*drumroll*...2017.

Thank you so much for your lovely message, and I'm so glad you're enjoying the Qin Su AU! 🥹 but re: my brain, I regret to say that the inside is just full of weasels. Now and then, I wrangle a very small percentage of my weasels into typing out a coherent fic with their evil little paws: but most of the time, they're hanging out doing this 24/7.
