Her voice was quiet as she leaned in the doorway, recognizing her lover’s figure almost immediately as he was hunched over his desk, the blonde thinking that he might’ve already been asleep. She moved slowly up to him, hands grabbing onto the back of the chair where his suit jacket was thrown across, Katharina flattening out the fabric with her hands as she looked over his shoulder, trying to read some of his chicken scratch-- nothing.

❝Luci, it’s 11:30,❞

Kat hummed softly, hands going to rub at the back of his neck-- the soft spot that she knew made him melt-- no matter what. Awake or sleeping, for that matter. He was such a hard worker sometimes, she didn’t even know what to do with him now and again at times like this. In a way..she wasn’t really sure how he did it.
