Usually exhausted after spending her entire day with her cousins, Lily fell asleep in five minutes as she crashed on her bed. Tonight, though, for reasons she couldn’t put into words, her shoulders were tight. Had she absorbed too much excitement from the day? She couldn’t say.
It’s relatively a chill and cozy days. Braving the cold by flying across the field of the Burrow, and ended with a dinner prepared by Grandma Molly, the day couldn’t have been more perfect than this. Well, she can only reckon it’s because a recent addition to their group which makes this holiday different than the past years. Her relentless effort of subtle gestures of coaxing her dearest older brother to invite his best friend to stay over at their house during the festive season, was proven a success.
The redhead reached out to grab her watch on her bedside table. Five minutes to midnight, wide and awake, she decides to head down to the downstairs, to make a cup of hot chocolate, in a hope that can help her to wind down and soon get the sleep she deserve.
