Meeting people to gel with and maybe work on new things with in New Orleans has been tough because I haven't met too many artists I have much in common with and I haven't met any non-artists at all really. I didn't think it would have this big an effect but I seriously think party culture is slightly getting in the way of potential friendships for me here in that just when I think I like someone, they just invite me to a bar. And that wouldn't be a huge deal but I feel like, and I'm often a little right, that not wanting to be bar friends terminates the friendship. And I've only been here two months so I think I know the answer to this but how is anybody supposed to do anything great around here if they drink this much
