Can i request some Meihem? (Mei and Junkrat)
Mei was chewing her lip as she tested the water filling the tub. It wasn’t too hot, and wasn’t too cold. It was perfect, and full of suds. After waiting till it was at least a bit more than halfway full, she stopped the taps and glanced at the time. It was half past 6 in the evening…
It wouldn’t be long before her boyfriend came home. Jamison, who liked to go by the name Junkrat, had gone out for the day with his bodyguard and bestie Mako (a.k.a Roadhog). The two had gone out to take a look at the scrap yard, needing to find parts for one of Junkrats crazy inventions. Mei said he couldn’t make it in the house or in the back yard, simply because of how often things exploded.
Usually, her boyfriend smelled of sulfur and oil, and looked like someone had rubbed him down with dirt and soot. Whenever they hung out, she had to wear her less nice, black t-shirts just so they could hug and cuddle without ruining her white tank tops. And don’t get her started on the hair.
Once in a while though, Junkrat was required to clean up and take a bath, but that day had come and gone a while ago. The smell was growing worse then usual, and thus signified the desperate need for a bath.
Mei could hear the door open at the front of the house and held her breath as she turned out the lights quickly and went to great them. Surprisingly enough, Junkrat had a layer of dirt gone, though he definitely was not clean.
Roadhog must have said something funny, because Junkrat was laughing like crazy…then again, he might not have and her boyfriends reaction would be the same. Eyes lighting when he saw her, he stepped forward on his peg leg and lifted her off her feet into a hug.
“Hey darl’, how’s me best girl?” Junkrat said in his thick australian accent. Mei giggled as he kissed her neck and cheek, probably leaving soot kiss marks in his wake but honestly, she didn’t mind too much.
“I am fine,” Mei said in her soft voice, reaching up to press out a burning strand of hair on his head, a little smoke rising from the tips. “Did you find what you need?”
“No, but this damn ‘og pushed me into a bloody big puddle, he did!” Junkrat says with a glare at the large, looming figure that squeezed through the door. Roadhog was a big man, and lived with them there. Mei didn’t mind-the man felt like another member of the family.
“It was a river. Stupid,” Roadhog growled, and it felt like their eyes locked. It was time. With ease, Roadhog scooped up Junkrat and held him firm against his side as he started walking through the house.
“Whats with this, ya loony?” Junkrat demanded, wiggling and trying to get free. He noticed Mei following behind with an apologetic face, and after realizing the direction he let out a miserable gasp of realization. “NO! NOT A BATH! I JUST GOT THE SOOT BETWEEN ME TOES THE WAY I LIKE IT!”
Mei couldn’t help but giggle. “Jamie, you stink! And its been two weeks since you were suppose to bath. It won’t hurt you to be clean,” she says pointedly, as Roadhog squeezes into the bathroom and turns on the lights. The panic in Junkrats eyes as he stares at the bath is evident.
Junkrat looked at them both. “Please, not yet! Er, tomorrow! i’ll take one tomorrow, i swear!” he tried to say.
Mei moved past Roadhog and took Junkrats hand. After a moment she put on a pout and looked up at him with her cutest possible look. “Please Jamie? We could cuddle in bed after…” she said, playing with his fingers, noticing the black smudges on her own now.
Junkrat looked at her and looked away, before peeking at her again. Struggling with himself, after a few seconds he couldn’t help caving…he always did when it came to her. “Fine,” he said with his own pout, crossing his arms like a child. “But i promise tomorrow, i’mma rolling in the chimney i am.”
Mei smiled warmly and the look melted his heart. “Thank you, Jamie. I love you,” she said with a sweet kiss, one that left him giggling like a school girl and looking at her with heart eyes. With that, Junkrat let Roadhog put him in the tub with no further complaints.
And thats how Mei learned how to get Junkrat to take baths.
