Sorry to sound insane in your askbox but about that Wade/Stone post you made: I saw a thread on twt about Stone being insanely manipulative to Wade by making him genuinely believe that no one except Stone ever truly cared about him and to abandon Tom and the others, and the concept stuck itself into my brain and hasn’t left despite me not caring for this ship whatsoever. I just really like the idea of Stone manipulating someone for his own ends and destroying their sense of self while replacing it with his own design … very hot and evil of him.
so like, i like wade right. hes a fine comedic relief and kind of not much more.
but if i was to make his role more important, stone would be an ideal candidate to pair him with. there is something about wade's pureness. that naiveness and corruptibility. it would be intruiging to stone. stone would also probably extend the distaste he has for knuckles towards him. he'd see him as an imbicile. a connection to the emerald. maybe a way to get his beloved doctor back. he slowly gains his trust, gaslights him, cuts him off and wade is powerless under him. stone creates his very own agent stone.
and when stone got from him what he needed he drops him. i dont really think wade would really change sides, but he would be devastated nonetheless. finally someone seemed to care about him, finally he found someone he would do so much for and then...
