These Mu Shu Chicken Wraps are a tasty fusion of Chinese and Mexican flavors. Tender chicken and crisp vegetables are stir-fried in a savory sauce and wrapped in tortillas for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients: 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced. 1 cup shredded cabbage. 1/2 cup shredded carrots. 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 large tortillas or Chinese pancakes. Green onions, for garnish. Sesame seeds, for garnish.
Instructions: Put soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl and mix them together. Put away. Put vegetable oil in a big pan or wok and heat it over medium-high heat. Cut up some garlic and add some sliced chicken. About 5 to 6 minutes, or until the chicken is no longer pink. Shred the cabbage and add it to the pan along with the carrots and mushrooms. Add the vegetables and stir-fry for three to four more minutes, or until they are soft. Cover the chicken and vegetables with the sauce. Mix everything together well to cover it all. Add two more minutes of cooking. Add pepper and salt to taste. You can use a dry skillet or the microwave to warm the tortillas or Chinese pancakes until they are soft and bendable. Put some of the Mu Shu chicken mix on top of each pancake or tortilla. Roll it up like a burrito by folding the sides in. Add green onions and sesame seeds that have been sliced on top. Enjoy your tasty Mu Shu Chicken Wraps while they're still hot!
