This Next-Level BLT recipe, which calls for crisp bacon, crisp romaine lettuce, ripe tomatoes, and a zesty Dijon mayo spread, will elevate your traditional BLT. Ideal for a light supper or a tasty lunch.
Ingredients: 12 slices of thick-cut bacon. 6 leaves of romaine lettuce. 6 large tomato slices. 12 slices of sourdough bread. 1/2 cup of mayonnaise. 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Preheat your oven to 400F 200C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Arrange the bacon slices on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until crispy. Drain excess fat on paper towels. While the bacon is cooking, mix the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard in a small bowl, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Toast the sourdough bread slices until they are golden brown. Spread the Dijon mayo mixture on one side of each toasted bread slice. Layer the lettuce, tomato slices, and crispy bacon on half of the bread slices. Top with the remaining bread slices to make sandwiches. Cut each sandwich in half diagonally, and secure each half with a toothpick. Serve your Next-Level BLTs immediately, and enjoy!

These Mu Shu Chicken Wraps are a tasty fusion of Chinese and Mexican flavors. Tender chicken and crisp vegetables are stir-fried in a savory sauce and wrapped in tortillas for a satisfying meal.
Ingredients: 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced. 1 cup shredded cabbage. 1/2 cup shredded carrots. 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 2 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 1 tablespoon vegetable oil. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 large tortillas or Chinese pancakes. Green onions, for garnish. Sesame seeds, for garnish.
Instructions: Put soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl and mix them together. Put away. Put vegetable oil in a big pan or wok and heat it over medium-high heat. Cut up some garlic and add some sliced chicken. About 5 to 6 minutes, or until the chicken is no longer pink. Shred the cabbage and add it to the pan along with the carrots and mushrooms. Add the vegetables and stir-fry for three to four more minutes, or until they are soft. Cover the chicken and vegetables with the sauce. Mix everything together well to cover it all. Add two more minutes of cooking. Add pepper and salt to taste. You can use a dry skillet or the microwave to warm the tortillas or Chinese pancakes until they are soft and bendable.
