I’ve said it a thousand goddamn times: I don’t use AI to write my fics. And honestly, I want to know why the second someone sees anything even slightly well-written these days, they immediately jump to ‘must be a machine.’

I’ve been writing fanfic in Portuguese for years and only started doing it in English last year. Sorry if practice exists and people actually get better over time

Everything on the internet is AI to you people now. No one writes, draws, edits, or creates anything anymore, apparently. It’s just AI AI AI.

And I’m gonna be real: it’s fucking demoralizing. I spend hours writing, revising, plotting, organizing my ideas, pouring my soul into this shit, and then some asshole shows up to reduce it all to "this looks like AI"

So yeah. I’m done posting fics for a while. The AI known as Ster is tired and apparently needs water to keep functioning. Maybe I’ll be back at the end of the year. Or when Elon Musk decides to personally fund me. Or when ChatGPT starts paying me a salary

An AI released on April 23rd, 1888 (same day I was born, what a coincidence🤔). It only runs on one phone, which happens to be mine. It’s also extremely advanced because it has a flesh body it uses to live a boring, painfully ordinary life :(

Besides, the majority of idols have been or still are (who knows) racist in some way, whether it’s by saying the N-word or making caricatures of Black people/people of color. Guys, I literally only talked about it because I’m tired of getting messages about AI in my inbox every single day 👵 like… every. single. day. Someone brings up the same topic again and again, and it gets exhausting at some point. It wasn’t a hate post or shade to anyone, it was just a simple vent from someone who’s tired of seeing the same thing all the time.

I didn’t even write fanfics back then 💀 so the comparison doesn’t even make sense. People change, context changes, and honestly I was just saying that it gets boring seeing the same plots over and over — not disrespecting anyone’s work.

Sometimes it feels like people read things just to find contradictions instead of actually understanding what’s being said 😭 like, calm down, it’s not that deep. I say one normal thing and suddenly everyone’s doing a whole essay about it 😭💀

It’s not about “not being allowed to complain,” it’s about y’all realizing not everything is an attack or a drama. I still love fanfics, I just get a little unmotivated when everything starts feeling repetitive — and that’s NORMAL. It’s not shade, it’s just the reality of someone who reads a lot.

So yeah… take a breath, stop being so defensive, and understand that sometimes “I’m bored” literally just means I’m bored 😃

My God, what the fuck, I’ve said a million times already that I don’t use this shitty AI to write my stories. I only ask how to spell a word, if a slang works, or which word fits better in the context of a fic, stuff like that. But now y’all keep constantly getting on my damn nerves with this bullshit, like holy fuck. Look, I write somewhere else too, on Wattpad (in Portuguese), and guess what? Nobody there is like “oh, you’re using AI.” But the second I post on this shitty Tumblr, people start saying it. Sorry for not speaking this damn English perfectly and asking for help with a word or an expression. Am I committing a crime by asking for help? For not being 100% fluent? Let’s be serious. My writing is EXACTLY like this and I’m not changing it. I’ve been writing this way ever since I was a teenager locked up in my room writing about BTS. And now you’re gonna tell me I need to change my writing style? No. I’m not changing shit. I learned to write this way, and if in your damn language English it doesn’t read the same, that’s YOUR problem, not mine.
