Because if you're going to have a Star Trek story, why not have some space lesbians? A pair of side characters for the Star Trek story I've been working on with a friend. I've got basically nothing yet on these two, other than that they're girlfriends, so no determined ranks yet (hence the lack of pips), and randomly chosen division colors liable to change. On the left is Fornilinfel, a Denobulan because they need more love, and on the right Fariha bint Nimat ibn Haytham Al-Amin (I'm not familiar with Arabic naming conventions, so I hope it works). The uniforms are based on the ones in Picard, but just black beneath the shoulders is boring, so the uniforms have some extras inspired by various other uniforms from the franchise.
Pencil on paper, colored digitally.
[Image description: Two standing figures; the one on the left is a Denobulan, shown talking, with loose, shoulder-length brown hair, blue eyes, and wearing a black and red uniform. She is pointing at a grey pad held by the figure on the right; a smiling woman with light brown skin and dark brown eyes, wearing a blue and black uniform with a matching blue hijab. They are holding hands.]
