2018
2018′s gonna be a great fricken year. I have several super dope goals, aha~
CUT WEIGHT.
So like... Not gonna lie, I gained ~15lb from the holidays. How much of it is actual fat? I have no clue. I ate out about 2x a day while in chicago, and definitely lived in the moment. I haven’t visited my family out there for the past... lord knows how many years, but it’s been a very long time. My sister went 2x in 2017 and I couldn’t go because I had work obligations.
Now, I sit at ~171 (from 175.4lb when I first landed back home), and I wanna cut down to 150-155 by Anime Expo, or at least cut down to 17-20% bodyfat. By San Japan I wanna be 145-150lb. Abs, guys. Abs.
I’ll do the weekly update thing I used to do like before, where I put my workouts and weight loss progress. :) If you don’t wanna see any of that, blacklist #con season cutting
LIFT NUMBERS
Hopefully, I can get my total lifts to 750+. Right now my total lift numbers are at 515. (235 deadlift, 165 squat, 115 bench) I have adult money now (ish) so I can actually invest in a weightlifting belt and, y’know... squat shoes and knee sleeves and all that.

So- as many of you know, I’ve been sucked into the world of teaching. I currently work as a HS teacher, piano teacher, and science tutor. 2017 saw me as a youth group associate director, church pianist, etcetc. I just... am really busy. Still am (time management 2018 wya)
BUT. This past winter break I’ve been taking it easy. I’m working on a Stucky fanfic here, and I went to Chicago~
As you can see, I went to a LOT of restaurants. Y’all know my goal is to cut weight and that’s still my goal for 2018, if not more so (I’ll include that in a later post).
You only have one life to live, so live it to your fullest. Memories made are WAY more important than macros- and fitness is supposed to improve your quality of life. That’s it’s true purpose. If I went in with a mindset of “Oh, I can only eat this this this”, then I would have spent 70% of my time drinking diet coke and going low-carb.
Dude. Chicago has cake shakes. They take an entire slice of chocolate cake and dump that into a blender with ice cream. Holy fuck.

Massive shoutout to the guys I found over the past 2 years that are also on their own fit like korra journey: @do-it-for-cosplay/ @shawnabananuh, @ryocos, @mmusclechan, and @joel-ellie. It’s crazy how one fictional character can change so many lives. At one point or another, we all decided to get as strong as we possibly can, and I’m incredibly grateful to make this journey with some of the raddest people in existence.
