I know most people would say Kiryu, which is valid and I do love him, but MAJIMA FUCKING GORO is hands down the best character in the entire franchise IMO. His background story in 0 destroyed me emotionally to the point where I still think about it a lot, and absolutely cannot look at/hear of wrist watches without wanting to burst into tears.

And he’s also??? Still so kind after everything he’s been through. He may be absolutely off the wall batshit sometimes, but I firmly believe that’s a front to keep himself from getting hurt again.

6: Favorite fishes? VERY tragically, i don’t know much about fishes despite knowing that there’s some crazy bullshit happening in there!! but off the top of my head uhh...lamprey, eels (esp the gulper eel, they’re cute...when they’re alive at least. and moray eels), frilled sharks and greenland sharks, billfish, whalefish (despite the fact they are one of few animals to genuinely Horrify me...but that’s part of the appeal) and sockeye salmons :3

10: What’s your favorite animal with a worm body plan? (e.g. snakes, nematodes, caecilian, etc.) the afroementioned caecilians and snakes, alongside velvet worms, tapeworms and all legless lizards

u know what's surprisingly fun i just never tried it before? mage build in ds1. the zweihander is available right off the bat so i've used that every time i've played it but damn u can get 90 soul arrows right away and go to town on anything

right??? i usually go pyro but i just recently did an int build (almost pure int but i threw in some dex for fun) and ooh man u can really carve thru bosses once you get the spell timing down

i know i could just very easily just list them here but NO you HAVE to....immerse yourself....in my sight/soundscape....SO i want to show videos of them and their calls :^) <(O) <---- see thats a bird. beak and eye and all

arguably one of the most common, or at least the one i see the most. i used to feed them, and then i passed that job onto my grandma. i don’t think she does it anymore? but she’s told me before that the house crows she fed had their personal favorite foods, some liked rice and would ADAMANTLY not eat anything else, others liked dosa, some idli, others chapati etc etc. they look funny with big mouthfuls of food in their beaks :) i have more to say but this is getting a bit long so onto the next

the jungle crow is like the house crow but bigger and more handsome :) i hear them often but have only seen them a handful of times

i love these little bitches for so many reasons....they have so much personality! they’re so lively! they’re so noisy, make a wide range of sounds, they’re one of those birds who can mimic anything they want, AND they look like they have yellow eyeliner!! WHATS NOT TO LOVE!!!!!!!

i actually didn’t even know these guys lived here until a few months back when i heard this fucking UNHOLY somewhat-painful-to-hear call and my sister kept asking me what the fuck it was. i honestly don’t know how i found out but i eventually learned that they’re jungle mynahs! this video does NOT do justice how loud they can be sometimes. it’s a little bit startling to be honest

oh, speaking of loud!

the rose-ringed parakeet...maybe it’s the sensory processing disorder speaking but these hurt So Much <3 you hear them most often at sunset or sundown when flocks of them fly over and SCREAM and you know what? it’s pretty fucking loud even though they’re like 20, 30 feet up in the sky. i recall once, i was looking outside of the window in my sister’s bathroom and there was one of these guys on a tree right outside and when it screeched i 1) nearly shit myself 2) instinctively like ducked because they hurt so much. again the video doesn’t do justice how loud they can be!!! something about them a bit nicer though is that they love mangos!!! my mom says she uses to see them eat mangos all the time cause her childhood home had mango trees all over :)
