hi so my bestie's been having the worst week of her life (emotionally at least, she hasn't been hospitalized... yet.) and she's trying to save up money to move to another country where she can afford healthcare and food and rent and actually Live instead of barely Surviving.
i know i've asked before, and i know there's a million other people out there, struggling with even more dire things, but i'm emotionally attached to this woman in particular, and i'd rather she not starve and die, ok?

hey hi, normally i just reblog my portraits- specifically the reblog i do with the *original selfies*- to bump them, but it has come to my attention that apparently ALL MY SELFIE ADDITIONS HAVE BEEN GETTING ANDROID FLAGGED???
so if you have mature content hidden (and you're on the latest version of the *specifically android* tumblr app) you've probably missed This reblog, or this one, or even any of these???
so yeah, if there's any way i could appeal these flags (without needing to update my app) that'd be great but for now, i guess i probably can't go around tagging my portraits with "transgender" anymore (the only reblog with selfies not android mature was one where the original post wasn't tagged with transgender) which, during pride month, is extremely disappointing and i sincerely hope some kind of android flagging workaround is figured out soon...
the last time i did one was in 2021... which was kinda cobbled together and i'm not super proud of! most ones other people do haven't really piqued my interest since then...
i decided to spend the First week of october thinking up What i wanted to do. then once i decided on a challenge, i'd spend the Second week (so, up to today) catching up on all the art i would've been doing!
i'm gonna post them all in chronological order, every 15 minutes today after this post, so i'm all caught up (and i'm gonna post them individually so i can keep better track, and so i can tag them all properly without cross-tagging the posts weirdly, please forgive the dash spam, i initially thought i'd do it every 30 but that would've been SEVEN HOURS, this is at least gonna be only 3 and a half...)
the challenge i thought up- which i'm naming game-tober again because it's a fun name- was to do one character from a game i've gotten since 2021 in *roughly kinda* the style of paper mario, cause i really like that art style and practicing it will help me get better in a few different aspects of pixel art (and it'll help with my stupid scale-blindness, i've needed to redo TWO of the ones i've done so far because i made them absolutely molecular compared to PM sprites...)

i'll be using an hourly rate, based on the total time i spend on the piece. i'll discuss it with you prior to starting, including giving a Rough estimation on how long i'll take (and thus how much you'll owe), and i'm open to negotiating prices or even trading (such as trading a game or other item from one of my wishlists)
otherwise, payment methods will be through ko-fi, either mine or my friend kao's
and like i said before, i'd be willing to trade stuff too! my steam wishlist and my throne wishlist are perfect for that, and they could even be used as a sort of "tip" if you feel like it :3
As for what the dollar amounts mean...
15$ for simple &/or Personal: Uncrowded pieces of small-medium resolutions (think from around 16x16-128x128), few subjects, little to no thinking involved
20$ for Complex or "Branding" related: Landscapes, dense images, lots of details, generally things i actually have to think about. "branding" means like, a social media banner, pfp, stream brb/starting soon gif? merch? stuff folks could see out in the wild
25+$ for Situational...: anything More than the previously stated. i'll always warn any potential commissioners if their idea strays into the situational category
as for what i will/won't do, just ask and i'll tell you no if i won't, or yes if i will, it's that simple

(some things to note: i stream at 108p, i don't use a mic and instead use a midi keyboard for nearly all communication, i've also streamed for anywhere from two and a half hours to 9, and as of right now i have a rule in my chat where if you send a message you get timed out :3 it's a silly bit i'm thinking of dropping soon... maybe.....)
