I would be remiss if I didn't take the opportunity to post about this here!
I had an incredible encounter on Twitter, where, after talking about a specific manga I had been wishing for years to be scanlated, someone who was scanlating it replied to me to let me know it was in the works!
That someone was hal0thane, and the manga she's scanlating is the one and only Ishi no Hana by Sakaguchi Hisashi!
I first heard about it in the late 2010s, and it's occupied my mind for years since. It's a manga set in Yugoslavia during World War 2, written in the mid-1980s! It's only ever been translated in the Romance languages, so not even people from former Yugoslavia have had the opportunity to read it!
I am genuinely so psyched that this work is finally getting translated, even if unofficially!
