Rocks
I totally and completely encourage you to research any area in which you want to set a Warriors work and determine or approximate what rocks and minerals predominate in your setting. However, if you don’t want to do that (because it is a lot of work and can get quite technical) or can’t (because you’re using a fantasy setting) I have provided these generalized rock prefixes to be used in lieu of detailed data, applicable to all regions.
Boulder- dark brown, or brown tabby with darker stripes
Rock- brown of any shade, or brown tabby with lighter stripes
Stone- gray or gray tabby of any shade
Pebble- light gray with or without tabby

It was rare that Naoki got to spend time with someone well into their aging years. It must have been strange, to see someone you knew age while you did not. Almost tragic, the concept was. The belief that you could continue to live on and act as though this was nothing more than a distant memory. Nothing more than something that just /happens/, and he may have said, death is something to be accepted all the time--but it didn't make the reality any less troublesome. He'd watched Zita grow up, didn't he? Even though he was back where he started, by himself, he'd watched after her. She became what she always wanted to be--despite her falls and mental instability that he'd come to know over the years. And at that, he wondered, wondered if the age showed in his eyes. Only a few set of years, but--for him it felt like an eternity. He'd seen every he helped achieve things they never believed they could. Naoki had already watched a few of them pass on, and some die before their time. It's why he was here by himself, wasn't it?Still, even on her death bed, she hadn't stopped cracking the same stupid jokes, " I swear if you don't cut the crap, I'll shave off all the hair you have on top of your stupid fat head, " The former dancer threatened, hostile done reverberating off the white washed walls." But you never really did eat! " Huffed Naoki in reply, " You don't listen, Zita, geez. I thought you'd grow up soft but no, you're still the sassiest woman I know. You should have at least eaten some chicken--maybe some soul food. I don't know. Eat /something/, damn it. "" Geez...even on my final resting place you're treating me like baby. You're not my mother, Naoki. You're grandpa, and grandpa should shut his trap and eat his toffee or whatever it is that old people eat, " " Tch...this isn't your final resting place. The final one is that six feet deep hole that's meant to be a literal representation of your /head/, " The serpent snapped back before relenting, letting out a soft laugh, " You know, if you see Lind, tell him he's a bit more of a dunce than I initially realized, and that maybe he should have been more open about himself and perhaps I.. "Thankfully, Zita cut him off before he could finish, " You know, he's probably still clinging to you like the lost puppy he was--. "Once she trailed off with a sigh, Naoki leaned over, curling slender fingers around her frail, aging ones, " You know, I've forgotten to thank people in the past--thank them for all they've given me. I'll do it while I remember now. Just, thank you for everything. For all the moments we've shared, and for teaching me to grow and learn. You, and the others are why I've opened up--I can only hope I continue on as such. "" What was that thing you used to say? " Zita said hoarsely, hues appearing to dim slowly. The snake demon reached over, letting out a short chuckle as they spoke the following words in unison, because even if he had almost forgotten, he would never allow himself to forget now. Not ever. Not after all they've been through, not after the thousand trials they managed to endure to reach this point. When others had given up, he had not. Naoki watched her, become something admirable. Even more so than she ever was. Watched her illuminate, through grey eyes, on a grey background. Through the anguish, and everything that could have ever blocked their path...they made it.Pressing his forehead to the female's, an age in eyes that could not be placed on the body, they uttered, " You're illuminating.. "
