i'm really liking the yard d&d because everyone is clearly having a Great time playing and hanging out and creating a story together. Slime is doing Great in fleshing out the world in entierly silly ways that really make it seem not only richer in texture but also outline what kind of freak Georg is and whyy he's like that. Lud is doing awesome with finding what would be funniest to give his character while still making Stonebeard. yk. Stonebeard. he's kind of pathetic and sad and an old gross man with a lot of weird weird issues and yet he's Still a vet and knows how to stay level headed in situations and how to steer a conversation for information and ohhhhhhh he's so Interesting.
also Aiden and Nick are like. themselves but a diffrent font. Aiden knows how to play this kind of Freak (who is actually the most normal of the group, but that is why the contrast of his Regularnes makes him so fucking odd) and Nick knows how to play a snarky bastard man who is Real chill and not at alllll playing it up to hide himself not at alllllll
now they're just making every joke be long term. now the way they engage with their role in The Group is character and story defining. and is that not so cool.
