Caesar is a whirlwind of emotions. He is heartbroken that Jolyne is now an orphan, nervous to be a parent, and excited as well. He was named the godfather. Despite his age, Caesar was still physically young and able. He’s flown down to America to pick Jolyne up.
“So… How do you feel about living in Italy?” This is his first time meeting Jolyne, and now that they are face-to-face, he wonders what kind of person she is.

“Thats what enemies and victims of mine tend to do.” Dan flashed a glance at the young girl. “They end up screaming and beggin for mercy as I wring the last bits of life from their body. At first of course I was disgusted, too much noise. But you eventually learn how to enjoy it. They beg, they beg so much because they think I will spare their lives. No, an assassin never spare lives, no matter how close the person is to them, because it’s out job to kill.”
He took a moment to take a deep breathe. “Us assasins are no martyrs, you would do well to remember that. Most of my enemies died screaming, and I would hate for you to end up like them as well.”
