#77Saturday Stone Mad by Elizabeth Bear is a companion novella to her steampunk novel, Karen Memory, which I loved. It is western steampunk (ie. wild wild west with steam tech) which is quite unique but it is a world that is full of supernatural beings too yet still not accepting those who are different.
