The Book You Should Read
I want the truth about my honest book Affairs Valentino to be known, the book read and my decade of sincere research appreciated. In this effort I find it imperative that I expose those who have for years.. and are now still.. spreading outrageous lies to ruin the book and my reputation.
I want to state that the blog being run by Tracy Terhune, under my book's title, on which he permits David Bret to publicly lie about me and my work... is cyberbullying by definition and of the highest degree. This is not a legitimate critique, as is claimed, in light of the history of Tracy Terhune’s posts on this blog and the malicious intent of this blog and its contributors.
Tracy Terhune has wielded this blog for the past six years to harass me and defame my work with lies, disturbing images of Bibles, Satan and pigs, vile headlines accusing me of crimes, even posting in the first person acting as my voice. This blog is deceitful and disgusting.
David Bret has spent the past ten years posting about me in such a heinous manner; bullying, defaming and traumatizing me with unthinkable images and posts. I sued him in the Italian court and won. He is now guilty of defaming me. The case file supporting this statement will soon be available online and in its entirety.
How can this blog be a credible critique when David Bret has in the past posted my obituary and his reports of my death were so many, my search on Google was topmost, "Evelyn Zumaya Death". He has recruited people to assist him in bullying me and done so publicly, posted my personal information as enticement to do me harm, (”I will reward anyone who will slit her worthless throat”), written years of salacious and violent scenarios of my death and enticed me many times to commit suicide. Yet he dares claim I deserve this and that he is in the know. He knows nothing except hate and lies
These people are allied now on this blog, which used to be mine before I was extorted into closing it by a threat from David Bret in 2011. This blog is designed to deceive web traffic and to bring further pain and suffering to me. Their actions, independently and collectively define cyber bullying and I expose their hate machine.
Every single time I post anything online or make the meekest display to promote my book, they see it and react in seconds. This is cyber stalking. They post lies and repeat them as if this will make their lies true. It does not. They are just repeated lies. This is cyber bullying. Like vultures crouched for the next tidbit, they swoop in on my online appearances to shred whatever I do into bloody shards to feed their twisted and hateful lies. I defend my book Affairs Valentino, my personal integrity as an honest woman and I fight back!

Lying
Maya was telling me about how she saw this TED video on dreams, so I decided to watch one too. About lie-spotting.
What I thought was really interesting is two things: We get lied to 10-200 times a day, and strangers usually lie 3 times when they first meet each other. And men lie more about themselves, whereas women lie to protect others.
Anyway, onto lie-spotting:
Those who are lying often resort to non-contracted denial: they're overeager in their denial of the truth, so they use formal instead of informal language.
They can also use "distancing" language, which basically means using words to clearly separate themselves from them, such as "that", or "them".
Using qualifying language, like "in truth", "in all candor", usually points toward a lie.
You may think liars fidget all the time, but they're known to freeze their upper bodies.
Supposedly they don't look you in the eye either, but nope, they do it more often because they know this.
Fake smiles: no crow's feet
How a liar tells a story: Withdrawn, jerky, too much detail in irrelevant places, tell story in strict chronological order
"Duping Delight" - liars make one expression, while masking another (they might shake their head, while smiling agreeably)
How to spot contempt - One lip corner turned up, it's the only asymmetrical facial expression
Liars shift blink rate, point feet towards an exit, put barrier objects between them and the person they're speaking to, lower their vocal tone
This all seems like a lot-but when you see clusters of them, that's when you spot a liar.
