Sorry folks nother big rant for today-]
As a gacha game player-
Man fuck all these gacha games!! Just put in the fucking effort to make the game paid with multiple (unlockable) characters you can play as!! You already have all the shit for it in game!! Why do you do this! You hold back the game from going even further!
"oh but what if they wanna add more characters?" Mf dlcs! Both paid and free! Fuck did we not grow up playing the same games!?! Fuuuuck!! "They won't make good money" Mother fucker are you so brainrotted by battle passes and gachas that you don't realize paid games make bank!?!
Hell maybe if they didn't make it a gacha fucking live service, they'd have time to actually implement all the shit they wanted to into the game! You wouldn't be losing va's of character cus the creators probably wouldn't have been shit and actually had them do all the voice lines for the entire game!!!!!
Oh and don't get me started on bugs, UI, story problems, lighting, combat mechanics, and more. If the game was fully polished they would be making more money than they are now! Fuck sake hi3 (honkai impact 3 for those of you that don't know) is a genuinely good gacha that would've been a million times better as not only a fully fleshed out paid game (that actually would've gotten game of the year as the story is complex and interesting!) but it should've been put into 2 games considering they continued the fucking story with a new protagonist after the last one fucking ended!!!
Why do all these studios keep thinking gacha is what's gonna save them! No! No it's not! Just as there is zenless and wuwa, there's dozens of dead gacha games right after them! If you'd taken the fucking time to make it an actual damn game, you wouldn't have flopped! Infact just put that shit on steam and give it good advertising and you'd save yourself. Fuuuuuuck!
