Testing something out. The lighting may make this appear better than it is, considering the actual sculpture isn’t that yellow tint, which is actually closer to Springbok colouring. Oh, this is supposed to be a Springbok, but without the horns and ears because this was just a test. I need to fix a few things. I’m making this because I want to do stop motion, and I would like to do a stop motion of a springbok for a story I’m making. I really should consider making the eye a marble or something, but this thing is pretty damn small. maybe one of those metallic looking balls you put on cakes?

I’m feeling a bit bleh. I have this idea for a story, for a journey a character will go through, but it’s immense, and I feel daunted. I’m shooting for a massive story, but I’m just one person. And, I feel like I can’t do the things I need to do for it. Like, I need to create this main character, but I’m not a person who can draw faces from my head (or at least not yet), so I feel a bit defeated. And I’m worried I won’t be able to paint realist backgrounds for the animation. And a horde of other worries. And right now, the story is trapped in my head and I’m only making little steps toward getting it out and showing it to people. It’s tiring and annoying, I just want to show people what I’m thinking so they can maybe appreciate it? I don’t know really. It’s just frustrating, and I really wish I could make further strides towards something more complete.
