YOU is such a good show, but it's literally about a murderer who is obsessed with this girl, and people are all over social media thirsting for the character. And not in a "haha, he's still hot" kind of way, but they're ACTUALLY praising his actions. And saying things like "That girl is such a brat, she doesn't deserve him." What. The. Fuck.
I haven’t watched the show but I’ve seen posts about people romanticizing him. Apparently even the actor who plays him even tweeted about it and mentioned how fucked up his character is. I just don’t understand people who romanticize characters who are clearly awful. It will never make sense. By I’m gonna go out on a limb and assume the people romanticizing his character are young, impressionable teenage girls because they’re too immature to fully understand the concept of the plot.
