Things that happen at work:
Work Child 1 just turned 20 and seriously wants to buy a house or condo, but has a lot of debt from...well, being young and not having a lot of impulse control. It’s also not that much debt.
Anyway, I spent maybe 20 minutes copy/pasting my budget spreadsheet into a new file and tweaking it for a single person before sending it to him.
His whole face lit up, and it seriously just made my whole week.
He decided he’s going to get all of his debt paid off by the end of the year and start looking at houses in February. (Basically as soon as he has two years worth of W2s to actually submit.)
