Upsurge in Baiting
These posts are affecting people’s lives y'all. Are you even aware of how bad the consequences for the person can be? That can lead to family struggles, depression, self harm, damage to someone’s reputation… I don’t see anything wrong with sharing nudes. It’s a private exchange between two people. Posting the ones received is my issue. That’s when trust and privacy are broken. These people have lives, lives thay extent beyond a computer or phone screen. They have professional lives, romantic lives, real and honest lives. How would you feel if it was you or someone you care for who was on the other end? It’s only sick to do that. You preyed on someone and got a picture of their genitals and/or other parts. So? What’s the point of releasing it besides causing an innocent person harm? There's already too much going on in T&T. Don’t add to it. Sharing the nudes is one thing. Naming them - full government name, oftentimes with their location and their profession and all that - and outing them is another. Some of my very good friends (some of whom are closeted and identify as straight) have been seriously affected by this and I’ve seen the effects first hand…please stop contributing to it. Don’t let baiting continue to be perpetuated. Stop baiting. If you see the posts come up, report it. Don’t reblog it. Please. Reblog THIS to help someone else.
