Miguel from Portugal has a Tumblr page entitled: I’m Drowning In An Ocean Of Thoughts That’s what I’m feeling now. So much! 2020 was rough with so many hospitalizations for my dialysis. God carried me through! 2021 came in with seizures. UGH! Glory! In January I had left bunion surgery. That was a painful process. Still have pain, but so tolerable. I have a high pain tolerance because of Lupus. I did what I had to do. But the pain from the surgery was excruciating. I have mostly sat in my chair all day relaxing, reading, playing puzzles, etc. While dealing with this, I am heartened by the *many killings of BLACK PEOPLE; #BLM *states creating voter suppression laws; (PEOPLE OF COLOR WE MUST START TODAY MAKING PLANS FOR VOTING - lawn chairs, our own coolers of water, portable faces, hats, coats, etc. FOR VOTING DAYS). I can’t stand for more than 10 minutes. I vote near 10 a.m. or 6 p.m. in my area for few people in line. When I could I would take a vacation day as an outside poll worker. #StopVoterSuppression *people who scuff at giving help to the poor! What is wrong with people now! I’m specifically disappointed in Christians who are just acting a fool (voting against helping those less fortunate.) They say they don’t want to increase the deficit. That’s what it’s there for. #StopBeingSelfish *Pandemic Flu! COVID-19 CORONAVIRUS. WE ARE IN A TIME OF EMERGENCY, similar to when the breakout of the 1918 FLU! All wear masks. Now we’re in a forth rise of the pandemic and people want the rights who do not afford other people of different rights afforded in the USA. HYPOTHETICAL BEASTS! How depraved do you have to be to SCOFF at workers asking you to wear masks. They are the lower level personnel not making enough money and probably have 2 jobs. #WearAMask *Gun violence is at an all time high! Why do the average person need a firearm that can kill 20 people at once! UNBELIEVABLE! #VoteCommonSenseGunLaws *MENTAL HEALTHCARE in the USA sucks (inadequate). Some of these killings by police can be avoided if police had a mental healthcare worker on call. It’s funny how those calling others selfish for not staying indoors are truly the most selfish people of them all.. Some people don’t have a house they can “self isolate” in... some people don’t have running water to “wash their hands correctly” every 30 minutes.. Some children don’t have computers or lap tops to continue their education online...
