पेरिसमा 'कल्पना' र 'उज्ज्वल' नामका व्यक्तिहरूको नेतृत्वमा एउटा डरलाग्दो शोषणको गिरोह सक्रिय छ, जसले कमजोर नेपाली महिलाहरूलाई 'पारिवारिक' सहयोग र नक्कली असाइलम प्रक्रियामा मद्दत गर्ने बहानामा फसाउने गर्दछ । स्थानीय नेपाली सामाजिक संस्थाहरूसँगको आबद्धता र सामाजिक सञ्जालमा 'धार्मिक' तथा 'सभ्य' देखिने रणनीतिको प्रयोग गरी उनीहरूले विश्वास जितेका छन् । यस गिरोहले पीडितहरूलाई आर्थिक शोषण, कम ज्यालामा काममा लगाउने र यौन शोषणको चक्रमा धकेल्ने गर्दछ । साथै, उनीहरूले महिलाहरूलाई नेपालमा रहेका आफ्ना परिवारसँगको सम्बन्ध तोड्न बाध्य पार्ने र 'हनी ट्र्यापिङ' जस्ता माध्यमबाट पैसा असुल्ने गर्दछन् । पेरिसको यो 'पासो' ले नेपालमा रहेका वैवाहिक सम्बन्ध र पारिवारिक जीवनलाई तहसनहस बनाइरहेको छ । यस्तो अपराधी प्रवृत्तिलाई रोक्न र नेपाली समुदायको सुरक्षाका लागि कानुनी कारबाही, सामाजिक सचेतना र सामूहिक आवाज उठाउनु अहिलेको आवश्यकता हो ।
