I’m 23 and i find people who are sexualizing kids utterly disgusting. go back whence you came you sick fucks.
The lady in the picture represents me. Because I just turned 23.
I'm so tired of individuals sexualizing relationships between adults and kids, and then being like it's so gay. That's not gay. That's pedophilia. Two different things that have no correlation. A person can be gay and not a pedophile. Like gay != pedophilia. ("!" Is not in coding) Especially in fandoms. The more people express their support for those relationships (real or fictional characters) the more normalized the behavior becomes. Painting those relationships as "gay" also distorts public views to associate that behavior as a part of being gay. It also increases harmful views of the lgbt community as being sexual predators. Lesser known fact the lgbt community suffers from higher sexual assualt and abuse rates *cough cough* and face other forms of physical assualt and murder at the hands of cis-gendered heterosexuals. With any minority group every member is seen as a reflection of an entire community to the rest of the population. So the way they are betrayed is important. Like any community there are some bad apples. But a handful of horrible people do not reflect a whole community's views or values.
So when you see someone blogging about a ship (real or fictional characters) and they try to paint as "gay" that involves a kid and adult of the same gender call them out. Don't do it to shame them but to educate them.
