As a member of the Whittier Sunrise Rotary Club, we oft have guest speakers.... However none have struck me with such pride and honor as Mr. Yoshio Nakamura. A member of the famed U.S. Army 442nd "Go For Broke" unit of WW2 fame. To say this man is a hero isnt enough.........a LEGEND & INSPIRATION !!!!! Was beyond blessed to meet him and hear him speak!

We've got original first-class accommodation plans, an original Dominion line / White Star Line first class blanket (Which will make a cameo in the video project) a beautiful 3rd class soup bowl and a first-class champagne bottle (Both recovered from the wreck of RMS Republic)

Coming soon to my personal collection of relics that make up the "Shipwreck & History Archive" of our group.... An ORIGINAL 3rd class soup bowl from the doomed R.M.S REPUBLIC the "Billion Dollar Wreck". This relic was recovered in 1987 following the wrecks discovery and subsequently sold at auction. This video, sent to me by the bowls current owner, clearly shows the engraved WHITE STAR LINE logo.....its red enamel long since gone after over 70 years at the bottom of the North Atlantic.
