I didn't get as much done this year as I wanted: work, mental health, the usual. But I'm really proud of all of these because I either wrote them for a friend and they loved them, or I wrote it for myself and I loved it. 2021 is the year I've found my favourite pairings, the stories I want to/love to tell, and abandoned the bits that were making me sad (e.g. writing less boring smut, writing more difficult topics and relationships). No longer writing the most beloved character because I thought that was what made me valid in fandom. That a smaller, tight-knit community is the way to go: the most fun I have these days is messing around with lore, canon and my favourite characters with those friends. Thank you, all. Here's to 2022 and more rarepairs and story spinning!
