There's a reason why 3-1 leads are dangerous
Some of y'all are really sleeping on OHL's Guelph Storm. The Storm is currently sitting in second place in the Midwest division, and third overall in the western conference.
They had a rocky start to the season, but are progressing quite well. They're starting to figure out their goalie situation and power plays.
They're a young team, with only one overager (Cameron Supryka (signed contract (undrafted) with LA Kings), from the Sania Sting for a ninth round pick in 2024). Is expected to play against Owen Sound November 19th, 2021.
Two players drafted in 2021 to NHL teams, Daniil Chayka by VGK, 2nd round, 6th pick, 38th overall.
Sasha Pastujov by ANA, 3rd round, 2nd pick, 66th overall. Was the OHL's player of the month for October, and is the current point leader with 27 points -> 15G, 12A
Two of their players are currently expecting to go mid-late first round; Danny Zhilkin (c) and Matthew Poitras (c).
Their goalie, Jakob Oster, is also on a few scout's lists.
