Just did a quick inventory and group picture of the different Stormcrow configurations I've kitbashed. From left to right an Alpha, another Alpha, a Delta, a Charlie, and a Papa.

Just did a quick inventory and group picture of the different Stormcrow configurations I've kitbashed. From left to right an Alpha, another Alpha, a Delta, a Charlie, and a Papa.
Managed to get some painting done over the weekend. I painted up a Stormcrow D, a Balac attack helicopter, and a Rogue Bear battle armor. All done up in Clan Ghost Bear's Omega Galaxy colors.
Did I use fluorescent and glow and dark effects? Yes. Very yes.
We here at Kasperl’s Kraft Korner are ardent supporters of the Stormcrow/Ryoken medium Omnimech platform. This is one of our most recent kitbash excursions, a Stormcrow D. Two LRM-20′s, two SRM-2′s, and a NARC beacon to round out the weapons load out.
This was made entirely from parts from Iron Winds Metals. The base miniature is the “old model” Stormcrow B/Prime kit, with arms from a old Nova, and the LRM-20′s from a old Loki A kit.
I didn’t like the large hands, more space for victory to slip through my grasp, so straight away I sawed off the the hands from the Nova arms just behind the wrist. In their place went the LRM-20′s. Then to maintain proper grasping potential I cleaned up the Prime arms with hand manipulators and placed them out board of the LRM-20′s as they should be.
Very pleased with how things turned out.
