Annoyance was clear on her face when the god hooked her up by the waist and lifted her up to be eye level with him. His arrogance was nauseating--it reminded her a great deal of her ex-boyfriend Adonis, which only made his touch that more unwelcome.
Realistically, a kiss was a small favor to ask for when it came to the gods but Meg didn’t like the audacity that came with asking such things of her. She wanted to believe that she was worth more than her flesh. Hooking an arm around the god’s neck she leaned in, seemingly complying to his demand. However, she’d stop just short of his lips and grin. “Oh, I almost forgot, I’ve sworn off manhandling.”

At the first sight of evil, Elrond leapt forward with aim, keen wisdom picking out slits in enemy’s armour to end them as quickly as possible. There was no denying that he loves the fight!

thor means well. he genuinely believes that there’s nothing wrong with asking for help from a friend. and clint really wants to believe that. he wants to believe that opening his mouth, detailing everything that’s wrong, and asking for help won’t mean a damn thing. that it won’t mean that he owes thor down the line. that it won’t mean thor is going to look at him differently. newsflash, barton, he’s already looking at you differently. that’s pity in his eyes.

That our dominion over storms cannot be contested over one another?” The vampire held an expression patiently yet sarcastically, as if amused what a god older than himself expected by picking at bones long since bleached by the sun. Then, it flashed in a feral grin as he disappeared in a flash of lightning ushered by himself from the skies, disappearing as elemental moon rays and teleporting the short gap only to manifest partially at Thor’s back, suspended several inches above him. “What should my purpose be? Shredding you apart since you seem to want it so badly?” he menaced into the god’s ear in a growling low, draconian fangs protruding enough to ghost the shell.
a hand stretched downwards, fingers wrapping around the edges of her shield, blackened and marred by the sword of battle. her motions were slow, but not without a pointed purpose, gaze trained upon the hulking blonde figure before her. there was a slight jest in her words, a small twinkle in her eye as she spoke.

No shit. One of the hardest aspects of her job is to understand that yeah, she isn’t the strongest kid left on the playground and yeah, demigods exist. It’s a hard pill SHIELD has left her to swallow, but some people make it easy -- after all, it doesn’t hurt to fight alongside a freaking prince of Asgard, wherever that is. Wiping the small speckle of blood forming at the corner of her mouth, Echo groans as she surges from the rubble, gun prompt on her knee. Clearly a handgun isn’t going to do shit against this enemy, but ‘stubborn’ is a middle name acquired by those who can’t seem to take the hint that this fight isn’t quite for them.
“Gonna have to agree with you, big guy,” she mumbles, agitated as she uses what’s left of a table to prop herself up. “Hey... has Asgard ever given you a high-powered gun? Maybe like a really cool sword that doesn’t weigh in my worthiness? Because that’d be real useful here.”
