Fun fact: I have congenital anosmia, meaning I was born without a sense of smell, and everyone I know will at some point stick bad/strong smelling things in my face asking if I can smell them (honestly i don't mind their shock is pretty hilarious)

oh man i mean that’s better than what I get. A lot of times when I disclose to people that I have a visual disability they have to ask me how many fingers they’re holding up its like *sigh* or theyre just unintentionally condescending.

fact: my boyfriend’s taste buds are not really umm sensitive so I have to make our food extra spicy sometimes so that he can actually tell there’s flavor lol.

Hi! I don't know if you know anything about pigeons, but I'm thinking of adopting and the one thing I haven't been able to find info on is what to do with eggs. I've seen references to replacing with fake eggs but not much as to how or why?

My knowledge is limited when it comes to pigeons and dummy eggs.From what I have just quickly researched, the dummy eggs act as a form of contraception for the bird.When the bird comes into season replacing the real eggs with dummy eggs will keep the bird satisfied and, not feel the need to produce more.I’m not 100% sure if pigeons will lay without a bonded mate, or the bond they have with a human companion will suffice.Therefore I think your best bet would be to ask the rescue/breeder your getting the bird off for more information. And if it is a good idea as a single pet to have this implement ready for use.

It depends. If someone is just a bit rude then I tend to get angry for a few moments, then get over it. Like if someone does something annoying on the road, I will yell an insult at my windshield and then move on. So for little things, it’s like 8-9. But if someone is going after people who can’t defend themselves or if they’re spouting off prejudice or bigotry, I will lose my shit and refuse to get it back together. So that’s like a 1.

Helpful tip! A lot of people don’t realize that birth control pills are actually super handy and make periods not as severe plus alleviate some symptoms. Hope this helps and that you feel better!
