Hi! Adding 2 new women storyliners suggests the show will have better representation of women, because there used to only be 1 woman storyliner and 3 men, and the treatment of women characters has been mostly awful. So now hopefully the stories will have better representation and give women more complexity, which we're already seeing as the new storyliners storylined the Nell twist and Moira's shock birth. Plus having more women high up in Emmerdale is wonderful for the crew's gender equality 😃
And them adding two new women isn't what makes the show seem like it's changed to improve quality, it's the fact that they've changed storyliners AT ALL that show's they're making changes to improve quality. Removing a storyliner and adding 2 new ones is a big deal for a soap and shows they're making changes to the show at a very high level, in the interest of improving the show 😃😃 xxx
