This is my little baby cincher from Heidi @straitlaceddame. This is the first full day of wear with about a two inch gap. This little baby is so unbelievably comfortable. It puts no pressure on the ribs or the hips, making it the perfect sitting corset. I wore it walking around town, sitting in a car for long periods of time, and sitting at a desk making jewellery and had no problems whatsoever.

Does it have to be an under bust corset to be a "training" corset? Or do the above bust work as well?

I don’t have a lot of (read: any) experience with overbusts, but a bit of research led me to strait-laced dame’s FAQ where she says:

“Can I waist train in an overbust corset?This is not advisable.  Whereas an underbust style corset ends, as its name suggests, directly beneath the chest tissue, an overbust extends above to cup the breasts.  By nature, an overbust corset restricts lung capacity much more drastically than an underbust by preventing the chest from rising with each breath.  Because waist training is generally meant to reshape the waist only, covering the chest/breasts with an overbust corset provides no advantage.”
