Comments: 10/10 this was pretty damn awesome, it’s pretty refreshing, how Castiel is a fully fledged angel in here. Dean is the one that’s freezing, Cas’ grace is diminished but he’ll do anything to prevent Dean from freezing. Of course, Dean tries to brush it off when he heals, but luckily Cas can read minds. Hypothermia fic!

The Big Freeze by strangeandcharm (Destiel)

Dean and Castiel get locked in a large freezer during a hunt, and are trapped by sigils and left for dead. Since Castiel is an angel, the cold doesn’t affect him. However, the warding keeping them trapped inside the freezer puts a severe limit on his powers, and Dean, unfortunately, isn’t as immune to the subzero temperatures as Cas is. Now Castiel must fight to keep Dean alive while they wait for help.

This fic is chock full of awesome hurt/comfort, and a whole lot of hypothermic!Dean and protective!Castiel :) It’s short, but very cute, and the ending is perfect. :P

My note:  Wow... let's have a look at this story from three different angles, shall we?

The porn angle: goddamn, if you like disturbing dub-con/non-con tantacle you're so damn right with this one! And if you like Cas dominating and fucking Dean out of his mind, then, yesss! Dean being in need of a hard pounding? Check.

The lyrical angle: Hell, this story is wonderfully written! It's great, the writing style is awesome, the pacing is A+, the characters are as canon as could be -> it's outstanding! In my opinion strangeandcharm delivered her masterpiece with this one!

Facit: This story is a piece of porn-art!

Finally - the psychological, serious angle: this is non consensual in so many ways. I's totally fucked up. You really only should read this if you are very grounded. So, sorry to all the people that are disgusted and triggered by this content. If you think about it just for a minute, this has really hardcore elements! BIG BIG warning sign!! But she's dealing with the issue very realistic and in a mature way.

If you want to know why, read under the cut, because I have to be a little bit spoilery there.

1. One would say Cas is getting dub-con fucked by a tentacle creature, because he enjoys it after all. But to be serious - this is non-con. He's under a spell and he can't resist the physical urge after it started but this is the way a rape can be when it's not so physically painful that it's impossible to get aroused anymore.

2. Dean is due his experiences in hell SO fucked up that he HAS to relive it again and - yeah.... Drauma talk, read some articles if you really want to know about it.

3. Not only is Cas forced to the intercurse with the monster, it is implicated that he also is manipulated to have sex with Dean, or at least to parts of it, because Naomi got her hands in this.
