Structural support. Remove the innards. Assemble a temporary skeleton to prop up the period set. London, what is going on? This evening feeling somewhat angered and melancholic, I wandered home and one park I went threw was strewn with litter. I picked up some of the empty plastic bottles on my way out to bin them and a man walking in the other direction said: "I love what you're doing" as we passed one another and I was heartened.
Someone offered me their dog again yesterday. It was a Great Dane
When I was going through customs in the Dallas airport on the way back from France, I talked to a guy who had been there studying Polish emigrants to France in the nineteenth century, and I surprised him by having some level of knowledge on the topic. He said "usually I just say 'I study the French Revolution' because otherwise people don't get what I mean." We were both really tired but we smiled at each other because nineteenth-century revolutions.

We were passing in a skinny sidewalk. Our hands accidentally touched. We said sorry and went on with our walk. I turned back and saw him clutching his hand with his other to his chest. I don't think it was an accident.
OH. Oh my heart. I just got chills.
Friday morning at the gym, I was doing this tricep workout with a pulley machine, and I apparently wasn't doing it properly, and this giant, buff, jock guy came over and showed me how to do it to work the triceps out as much as possible. He didn't seem stuck up or anything; like he genuinely wanted to help.
I love that. I love it when people are kind and helpful, just for the sake of being kind and helpful.
A stranger and I were both the only ones without hoods or umbrellas during the pouring rain at school the other day. We smiled at each other and as he passed me he said "wonderful"... it was pretty memorable!
