finn improvising the "you're my superhero" line is something that can actually be so personal
bro i've seen so much talk about steve dying what about my boy lucas. this entire time i've been running on the assumption that the duffers are Too emotionally attached to the six main kids to kill any of them off at this point in the show but god. if they kill lucas i'm gonna be so fucking pissed
ok but if the duffers Really want to make the s1 group dynamics in s5 to show how much everyone has grown then they absolutely need to do a proper el/lucas friendship like. they were the closest to max her being in a comma is going to affect them in a way only the other one could understand imo. just let them bond!!! so much about the conflict of s1 was lucas going against el that it would be so so poetic to see them in s5 actively helping each other out. duffers feel absolutely free to use this.
to me the thing about stranger things is like. that's my show right there. like yes it has flaws yes it's not great at times and has arguably lost quality over time (even though s2 is way better than s1 in my opinion but oh well) but the thing, the big secret about it is that i like it. and i think it has stayed more good than bad and that it has passion and love behind it and it's just something that means the world to me and i'm so excited to have it back in a few weeks. i'm being optimistic about it!!! i'm going to enjoy s4 !!! i have faith on what the show is and i'm 100% aware that that's cause i'm emotionally involved and i've decided that i don't care. if it makes me happy that's good on it's own
why does my brain go: "desperate need for comfort=stranger things 1"
god i really hope el gets out of that trance and is like. well what the fuck and snaps Brenner's neck or something and never has to see him again. like i'm not joking when i say i honestly hope she never has to be locked in a lab environment ever again in her life
