Drinking on the Job
Every once in awhile, I land one of those assignments that would make me jealous of myself if I wasn't already the one sitting on a barstool sipping craft cocktails and billing them to someone else. In this case, that was the City Paper and their handy little bar guide, SWIG. It may just be my favorite publication to write for. This year, I dug into the best Mexican-inspired cocktails around Charleston. And surprisingly, the best ones I found were not in places that begin with an 'El' or 'La.' Alas, ole.
