It’s Boba Time is well known for its wide variety of flavors and options. People of all ages visit daily to grab a quick drink or snack. We had initially planned to visit Honeyboba because it had newly opened at the Americana but just as we were about to order, the cashier kindly told us that they did not take cash and only accepted credit cards, which we thought was strange. Nonetheless, we decided to visit Boba Time because of its proximity and popularity but it was not our first time. We ordered two regular sized boba drinks. The Strawberry Slush was $3.65 and the Thai Tea Smoothie was $4.25. Both items were prepared quickly in under 5 minutes of ordering but it was because there weren’t a lot of customers the day and time we went, which was Thursday around 5:30 pm. We imagine that it’s busier on Fridays and the weekends and the wait time is probably around 10 minutes. The tapioca balls were sweet and chewy and not too overcooked or undercooked. There was just the right amount of boba in each drink and we recommend getting the regular size because it’s still filling. The drinks themselves were sweet as well but we were surprised at how quickly they melted at room temperature but it wasn’t a big deal. After about ten minutes, the drinks resembled milk teas and not slushies/smoothies but they were still cold. Overall, we enjoyed grabbing a drink at It’s Boba Time and would visit again to try the other flavors. The prices were within the same price range as other boba shops in California. Drinks cost around $3-$5 depending on the size of the drink and what’s in it. We think that It’s Boba Time could have been in a better location because it is in a secluded part of Americana. We still recommend you to give it a visit because it’s an interesting place with over 140 flavor options that’ll leave your taste buds satisfied.
