Finished Stray Souls. Ehh...

While I had some fun (namely blasting monsters with a handgun like no tomorrow), I'm gonna say: don't buy this game. Don't play it. Unfortunately it's just bad.

It's like the devs wanted an edgier, worse Silent Hill. And then made it in a hurry. Enemies don't differ much. Puzzles are bleh. Bugs galore, though not game-breaking. The studio is long gone, so no support either.

hello i am BACK again

i just remembered to replay stray souls dollhouse story (i sent you an ask about it like , a million years ago) and it is actually pure cinema so im leaving a review in your ask box in case you want to play it lol

Pros:

atmosphere is immaculate, the artists went the extra mile adding details to really solidify the vibes

the graphics and animations look REALLY GOOD all things considered

along the same lines, the hidden object sections are actually really good. its always a lil annoying to me when you can tell which objects to click without even reading the lists because they stick out like a sore thumb since theyre just a PNG on top of another PNG but this game blends them in really well and you have to actually look

great story in my opinion, its clearly for a younger audience cus the writing is really blatant you dont really have to infer pretty much anything, and its about magic and demons and stuff, but i think its a cool take on a childhood trauma story

speaking of cool takes the way the hint mechanic works is really cool cus the hints are given by a living doll thats sent to your house to help you and hes rly funny

the final cutscene is absolute fucking cinema

Cons:

no voice acting (this is sort of a pro also though personally)

no hot masked men :(

honestly cant think of more but im sure theres some minor things im forgetting lol
