“Was. Keyword.” 😂
I love Will’s Strayan accent, he’s so funny 💕
Australian slang is so weird.
Today I was called a cunt by someone in the context of "Come ere', cunt."
That was a term of endearment from this person.
They then proceeded to tell me that I was a "Good cunt."
However today I also got called a "dog."
Now, this is bad. I heard it and knew I was in trouble and that this person didn't like me.
This is one of the worst things you can call someone.
Being a dog should be a good thing though?
Why is it that in Australia, being a cunt is a good thing and being a dog is a bad thing?
Good luck coming to Australia and being able to decipher if someone likes you or not, I guess!
lol city-educated australians sound like this: "oss-tray-lee-en"
I don’t know if Lasagna sandwiches are actually a thing, but I have found the accidental perfect name for them. #strayan #carbloading #lasagna #lasanga https://www.instagram.com/p/BuIHWJsAjLd/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1atxib50agezi
You’ve lived overseas in a few different countries for a while, and you have even dropped your accent. You think you’ve assimilated to American culture until you’re standing in a line, and you suddenly hear in the distance “aussie aussie aussie” and immediately reply “OI OI OI”, which is repeated again and again as though on autopilot, by every aussie nearby, while others look at you strangely while you shrug and say “Straya”
Here’s a joke image I made for a video game we have about three-fifths of bugger all chance of ever seeing here in Australia. You’re welcome, cunts. 😎
