A/N: sorry this is a tad short!! i didn't realize how short it was until i finished writing but it was really cute and i didn't want to mess it up by adding things. also apologies the title is jacob sartorious, i couldn't think of anything.

awsten was coming over for your usual friday night movie, and for the first time you were panicking. is it the movie too long? did you look okay? what if-

the doorbell brought you from your thoughts, suddenly ready to curl up in a ball and ignore everyone. opening the door, you saw awsten in his lounge pants and a long sleeved shirt. he looked amazing.

"hey aws," you smiled, gesturing with your hand to let him in. you stared for a second longer than usual, hoping he didn't notice. what's going on?

"you know where the movies are, i'll get hot chocolate."

your heart fluttered the slightest bit when you heard awsten scream about finding ferris bueller's day off. walking into the room, he was sat criss cross on the couch, attempting to turn on the movie.

you sat next to him, handing him a mug and pressing play on the remote. he scooted a little closer to you and smiled, sipping from the mug slowly, steam rising and fogging up his glasses. you loved when he wore them--which was usually a rare occasion.

halfway through the movie, awsten wasn't even paying attention at this point. he was trying to figure out if he could cuddle or hold hands with you without making it seem like something's up. he knew he didn't have the balls to do that.

he stared at you for a minute, just admiring how pretty you were. how did he get so lucky to call you his best friend. you turned to face him, smiling softly.

"that sweatshirt looks nice on you," he smiled cockily waiting for you to notice. you internally screamed that you forgot to take it off earlier but just punched his shoulder and told him to shut up.

"i think it's cute," his smile never left his face as he looked back at you. his cheeks flashed a light tint of pink before he leaned in, your lips meeting his. you felt him shiver lightly when you kissed back.

it was short and passionate, awsten barely able to open his eyes after. you lingered for a second, hand running gently through his strands of green hair.

"didn't think you'd ever get around to doing that."

"me too," he breathlessly laughed, still feeling your lips on his. you laughed a little, wrapping your arms around him. you felt him gebtly rub the skin under your shirt that was exposed, shivers moving down your spine.

"we should do that more often."

"i agree."
