Commission info: Due to an unexpectedly big interest in my dolls all the commission spots have been claimed before I could open the commissions publicly so there won’t be more commissions open for now. I was "released" from my job, so I will be spending today going back and forth between self-care and job hunting.
I'm not freaking out about it because I saw it coming, however, the manner of my "release" has me fuming.
Long-story-short, when I logged into the computer and hopped into a Teams meeting, per the CCM's request, he proceeded to tell me the call he was about to play for me had already been sent to HR, he was simply waiting for a response.
Which explained the rest of his behavior.
His attitude the rest of the "discussion" was an implication of, "you know what you did wrong".
No, actually, I didn't. I still don't.
And, whoever in HR approved my "release", either a) looked at the HR Tickets I had submitted in the past and thought they were doing me a favor or b) they didn't look at all.
Which is what I pointed out when I called the HR department later that day, after submitting a ticket in writing.
Thankfully, the call they pulled BEAUTIFULLY pointed out the point I was trying to make in said tickets; we'll see how it goes.
Basically, they have a pattern of saying "don't" instead of trying to come up with a solution that will work for everyone.

So, I ended up cutting this [stream] short because of tech issues piling up I didn't have the spoons to deal with. Still don't.
Could they have been prevented? Yes, had I expected them. But still preventable.
I didn't expect everything working perfectly two weeks ago to suddenly crumble. I didn't expect Streamlabs to fuck with the sound settings and make it so I couldn't be heard. I didn't expect the Chromebook to suddenly disconnect from the wifi, preventing the close captions from working, which is what really did it.
I don't talk about it as much as I should, but I want my streams to be as inclusive as possible, so, when the Chromebook stopped working, I said fuck it.
This is what I get for not having a backup plan. And, maybe, for not taking my Adderall.
