*There is a small knock at the door.
Nurse Joy: Come in.
*The door opens and Angel peeks her head through.
Angel: Um, hello? Can I come in?
Nurse Joy: Of course. I was just leaving. I’m sure you two wish to talk alone.
Justin: Thanks.
*Nurse Joy leaves, and Angel walks into the room. The two of them are alone now.
Justin: Hey Angel. I’m glad to see you’re okay.
*Angel starts to blush.
Angel: Y-yeah… Um, Justin? I have something to tell you.
Justin: What is it, Angel?
Angel: I, um… That is, um…
*Angel closes off her mind.
Justin: Um, Angel? Are you okay?
*Angel starts to speak in Pokespeak, with her mind still closed.
Angel: How do you feel about me? When you said you love me, did you mean it? Could you really mean it? Dare I hope that it’s true?
*Angel doesn’t realize that Justin can understand her.
Angel: Because I love you. I love you more than life itself. Without you, I wouldn’t be here. You’ve saved me time and time again. You’ve died for me. And I hate that I can’t bring myself to tell you how I feel. Because I’m scared. I’m scared you’ll hate me for it. I’m scared I’ll lose you if I tell you.
*Justin is beginning to blush.
Angel: When you told me you love me, my heart nearly stopped. It was like a dream come true. But I can’t accept that it’s true. I’m too scared.
*Justin stands up and walks over to Angel, putting his hands on her shoulders, blushing bright red as he does so.

I… I should tell him how I feel. We were almost separated forever. This is twice now. I don’t want to risk losing him again. Not without him knowing. I’m gonna tell him exactly how I feel.

*Angel looks away for a moment.

*Angel covers her face again and starts to mutter to herself.
Angel: He said he loved me. He… does he mean he loves me as a trainer? Or… does he mean like how I feel about him? I couldn’t be that lucky, could I? He’s my trainer, why would he feel that way about me? I shouldn’t feel this way about him. I don’t understand.
