#HBOMax has dropped. Is it worth the money? NO! . . . The old catch phrase, "It's not TV, it's HBO." That appears to be the driving theory of the service. You get to pay more money for the exclusivity. Less titles for more money. . . Other than Friends, Fresh Prince, HBO and some cartoons, there's ZERO tv shows from the 90's or earlier. . . . Movie selection is wider. But still hit and miss. They have maybe 3 Humphrey Bogart movies, but I don't think they have a single Bogie and Bacall. They do have the Godzilla Films put on DVD by Classic Media. . . . The new Perry Mason series looks amazing. It drops Friday. . . . HBOMAX looks to be a service you get for a month, once or twice a year, to binge certain shows.
